My passion in working with children and being a lifelong animal lover led me to becoming a Registered Psychologist and Registered Play Therapist. I primarily work with children and teens (3-17yo), parents, and adults. My therapy dog and I aim to create a safe space for clients of all ages to develop confidence, self-esteem, and peace; cultivate meaningful growth and change; explore past patterns; and process trauma(s).
I primarily use animal-assisted therapy (dog/horses/cats/goats/sheep/chickens/etc), play therapy, somatic experiencing (SE), EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, and other modalities, to support all ages to thrive (not just survive) in their lives. I offer both in person and online sessions, to allow flexibility in attending sessions if you cannot leave your home.
