My work in the field of Mental Health began in 2002 & my education & experience provided me with an MPCC (Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling) designation & builds upon my experience as a writer, community educator, spouse & mentor. I am a member of the CPCA & an active provider of Clinical Counselling Internships.
With individuals we address: depression, anxiety, OCD, anger, postpartum depression, performance orientation, boundaries, shame-based & defensive personality disorders, physical/verbal/sexual abuse, grief, miscarriage & infertility, eating disorders & disordered eating, addiction, & divorce recovery. With couples I utilize the Gottman Method to address the 4 characteristics that predict divorce with 86% accuracy
