As a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I have a keen interest in working with youth and adults experiencing a variety of life challenges. There are several concerns that I can help people work through including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, self-esteem, anger, separation issues, as well as others. I recognize that we are all unique and that everyone is the expert of their own situation. I am merely a guide to help work through challenges and accomplish goals.
I use a variety of evidence based therapeutic techniques, most specifically Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectal Behaviour Therapy strategies, and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT). I practice within a strength-based and solution focused model of therapy. I help clients recognize their strengths and assist with building upon them.
I have a keen interest in working with individuals and youth experiencing mental health challenges, as well as 16 years of experience in the social work and mental health field where I have acquired a strong foundation of knowledge and skills.
