I am passionate about supporting couples and families as they navigate life’s challenges—whether they’re rebuilding trust, managing parenting stress, adjusting to a new diagnosis, or co-parenting after separation. Additionally, I have a special interest in working with children under 12 through play therapy and am currently completing certification with the Canadian Play Therapy Association. I work closely with neurodivergent children and adults, as well as individuals with developmental delays. I also offer behaviour consultation services working from a Positive Behaviour Support framework.
My approach is person-centred, always considering each client's uniqueness. I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic practices, polyvagal theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), neuro-affirming AutPlay, and Synergetic Play Therapy.
Becoming vulnerable in counselling can be both exciting and scary. Clients often describe me as warm, grounding, and easy to connect with. I believe that conflict and stress often reflect a misalignment with core values, and by exploring these patterns with curiosity, individuals and families can build stronger, more compassionate relationships.
