About
As the Founder of The Mindful Living Centre, I sought to create an environment where clients can explore individually tailored strategies for addressing life's challenges, while promoting personal growth and well-being. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents and couples looking for guidance and support with their goals. I view therapy as a means of helping clients build on their existing strengths while discovering new tools and resources that promote increased self-awareness, improved coping and enhanced quality of life.
I am accredited by the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (CACBT), and I also employ elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema-focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Therapy when appropriate. My approach is warm, collaborative, and flexibly tailored to each client's individual needs and goals.
I am a founding member of the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, and I am also a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, the Ontario Psychological Association, and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
