As a Registered Psychotherapist, I provide counselling services to families, children and adults. My clinical practice encompasses a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, divorce issues, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, identity and self-esteem issues, post-traumatic stress, life decisions and transitions. I take an integrative approach to psychotherapy, combining elements of cognitive-behavioural, DBT, solution-focused, interpersonal, mindfulness and experiential treatment strategies.
I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, working in partnership with my clients to empower them to work toward their own healing and mental health. I strive to establish a genuine and empathic relationship with clients and believe healing takes place in an environment of trust and safety.
I offer individual and group supervision to both qualifying registered psychotherapists (RPQs) and registered psychotherapists (RPs) required to practice under supervision. As a clinical supervisor, I strive to engage supervisees in personal development, professional growth and lifelong learning.
