It is a stressful and anxious time and we are all processing that in different ways. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Child and Youth Care Practitioner with over 25 years experience working with individuals, couples, co-parents, children, teens and families. I have been a long-term foster parent to adolescents. I work with people of all ages. I have experience in education, private practice and non-profit sectors. My hours are quite flexible. I offer telephone, virtual and in person.
My approach is to work collaboratively with clients. I use the Feedback Informed Treatment model to monitor your movement towards achieving the outcome you hoped for by coming to counselling. I believe in a strengths-based, trauma-informed, solution focused, holistic, person-centered, psychosocial approach to counselling.
I believe everyone has the potential to thrive and recognize their own strengths and accomplishments. I am here to witness and support you in your journey. Long wait lists and cost of counselling is a significant barrier for many. I do not have a wait list. My rates are $100 for individual and $120 for couples or family. Payment by E-transfer.
