About
I am a Registered Psychologist that provides in person sessions in both Spruce Grove and Drayton Valley, Alberta and online services to the NWT and NT. I specialize in working with children, adolescents & adults with specialized training in play therapy, and trauma focused interventions. Another area of focus and enjoyment is working with couples, as they often struggle with placing their marriage as a priority, leading to discontentment and communication struggles. Areas of interest and experience include depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, family of origin, stress, trauma, addiction, and body image/weight management.
My ability to build rapport and create client comfort is enhanced by using a non-judgmental approach, and looking at people like people, not disorders. I believe in utilizing an integrative approach to therapy utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including play therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, person-centered, attachment theory, CBT, and solution focused.
