I’m a Registered Social Worker and Clinical Mental Health Therapist with over 15 years of experience in the field of counselling supporting individuals and couples through the messy, painful, and sometimes surprisingly human parts of life. I take the work and your care seriously and I believe therapy should feel safe, real, and human. Sometimes that means sitting with hard emotions, and sometimes it means keeping it light and recognizing the slightly absurd ways our brains try to protect us.
I draw from CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and the Gottman Method for couples.
My style is warm, grounded, & real. I’m engaged in sessions, I ask thoughtful questions, and I’m NOT the kind of therapist who just sits quietly nodding for 55 minutes. Therapy with me is a collaborative process...we talk,we reflect, & sometimes we even laugh (because honestly, life is already heavy enough). Let's create choice, not just reactions.
