Many of the people I work with have spent a long time feeling misunderstood, by others, by relationships, or even by themselves.
Some are grieving losses that feel difficult to explain to other people. The loss of someone to substance use, overdose, estrangement, or complicated relationships can carry layers of guilt, anger, shame, helplessness, and isolation that are often unsupported or minimized by the world around us.
Many come feeling emotionally overwhelmed or exhausted from trying to manage intense emotions, unstable relationships, mood shifts, impulsivity, or patterns they desperately want to change but feel stuck.
I have worked with men who may not have had many spaces where vulnerability, emotional pain, or uncertainty felt safe to express openly. Many have spent years coping by shutting emotions down, staying busy, withdrawing, or trying to “push through” alone. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and grounded in genuine connection.
My approach integrates emotion-focused, relational, and evidence-based therapies tailored to each person’s needs. I have particular experience in:
