Living an unconventional life requires immense courage and resilience. People in your life probably describe you as brave, driven and capable without fully understanding how exhausting it is to make things up as you go along. Underneath that fierce, independent exterior are the anxiety, insecurity, fatigue and burnout that lead to feeling adrift or isolated. Conventional supports and self-help advice often seek to tame or erase what makes you yourself. My practice is a virtual hearth where weird, wild, wayward humans can come in from the cold and trade their adventuring gear for a mug of tea by the fire.
As an existential psychotherapist and a former historian, I don’t offer straight paths or shortcuts. I use narrative deconstruction, philosophical inquiry, parts work and symbolism as portals to explore the deeper layers of your lived experience.
I cannot promise that healing from the adventure thus far is a gentle process, but I can promise that the choice of where to go from here is entirely yours.

What Now? Life After a Change (Online)
Major life changes have a way of making the future feel suddenly illegible. What Now? is an existential process group for adults navigating transition, uncertainty, grief, or identity shifts – people sitting with the question of what comes next and finding it harder to answer than expected. The group runs for ninety minutes weekly, with a maximum of eight participants, and meets by video call. The work is relational, meaning it happens through the shared experience of being known and knowing others, as much as it happens through individual reflection.
