From personal struggles to intercultural dynamics, intergenerational matters, workplace/educational hurdles, systemic barriers, and micro-aggressions — these factors influence how you perceive yourself and your role within society. While the majority of my clients are from the African diaspora, I’m happy to meet with anyone who wants to share their story with me and welcome me as a supportive member of your village.
I approach counselling from a holistic lens incorporating Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Career Counselling, Psycho-education, Creative Art Therapy & Nature Therapy. I also welcome the incorporation of religious/spiritual beliefs into our sessions and I'm cannabis friendly.
My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, self-worth, interpersonal relationships, racial identity, body image, inter-generational patterns/trauma, addictions & career strategizing.
