I am accepting new clients. I have over 15 years of experience as a social worker working with individuals, couples and families. In my sessions I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can freely share their stories and experiences without fear of criticism or rejection. Outside of my practice I am a mom of 4 and partner to my husband of 16 years. I understand first hand that life is not always easy, it can be messy and complicated and we can benefit at times from having another person walk alongside us.
I hold both a Bachelor and Master degree in Social Work. Additionally, I have received specialized training in various therapeutic approaches such as: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Perinatal Mental Health, Somatic Embodiment & Regulation Strategies, I also possess knowledge and experience in DBT and CBT.
Using evidence-based approaches I personalize counseling based on your own goals and needs. I love what I do and take pride in keeping things real, I try to ensure that your experience is comforting and personal, steering away from a clinical and detached atmosphere.
