About
To those who are emotionally/mentally burnt out, weary and exhausted, I welcome you. If you're reading this, it's probably because you're currently struggling with a difficult season in your life. Life can be overwhelming, sometimes even draining, but I’m here to journey with you in this time of uncertainty, through the empowering process of art-making. I practice from a client-centred, anti-oppressive, anti-racist and compassionate perspective with the utmost goal of helping you utilize the creative process to develop self-awareness, self-love and self-compassion towards yourself and your season of growth.
As an avid believer in the healing properties of the creative process, I practice virtual art therapy and comic art therapy with individuals to support them in the therapeutic process. Creating art initiates a unique experience and space for people to take a moment to learn from themselves, to express what words cannot and to adapt to all matters of life.
While change can be scary and daunting, I hope the eagerness for change is present with you right now. Trust is definitely something to be earned so if you'd like to learn more about my approach and how we can build a place of trust together, I invite you to contact me with your questions, concerns and possible intrigue. I look forward to hearing from you.
