My approach to therapy has developed through building connections with clients that are founded on collaborative and holistic perspectives. Together, we can build upon your strengths, develop new skills, and find clarity as a way to move towards your goals. I believe people are more resilient than they think. Therefore, I see therapy as an opportunity to spotlight our strengths, find a resolution to our internal struggles, and develop new perspectives to help us move forward.
I enjoy using Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy, all from a strength-based approach and solution-focused lens. Additionally, I am an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained therapist. Together we can work to find the most effective modality to meet your needs and work towards your goals.
I understand reaching out for support can be intimidating and difficult. However, this is a true sign of strength. I believe doing difficult things makes us stronger and I hope you see your strength as you begin this next chapter. Together, we will take our time building safety and getting to the core of issues.
