I take a client-centred approach to meet you where you're at and develop treatment around your individual needs. This may take the form of supportive counselling, help moving past stuck emotions or an issue you are facing in your life, or treatment for a particular mental health issue such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. I take an experiential approach and, in addition to traditional talk therapy, use a variety of expressive activities to aid in exploring and processing emotion, including play-based therapies, sand tray, clay work, arts, and mindfulness.
I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field working with a wide range of difficulties. I have extensive additional training on working with children and parents. I am a certified Brainspotting practitioner with specialty training in Brainspotting with children, Expansion Brainspotting, and Brainspotting for pain management.
