Having worked for nearly 5 years in federal prisons, I specialize in trauma, the treatment of deviant behaviour, criminal psychology and personality disorders. My practice focuses on building a strong, trusting relationship with the client and exploring all issues that arise. More specifically, I enjoy treating PTSD and complex-PTSD with a tailored approach for each client.
I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of trauma-related disorders as well as personality disorders. As every client has their own unique background, I adapt the treatment plan to each client’s needs while fostering a warm and empathetic relationship. I also offer therapy specially tailored towards ex-inmates.
I believe in shared expertise within the counselling relationship. In other words, I believe the client is the expert of their own life and will come to understand their issues through the work undertaken during our sessions. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental setting in which the client is encouraged to explore various aspects of their psyche.
