Are you feeling stuck and not understanding why you cannot implement the change you want to bring to your life? Do you tell yourself you should know better and feel discouraged when you cannot “fix” yourself on your own? This is because working on ourselves is more complex than it appears. The clues about what needs attention in our life are often not found in what we already know consciously but in the deeper layers of our unconscious - e.g. arising as dream images, symbols or overwhelming emotions. Working from a psychodynamic perspective helps understand what these clues mean and what constructive change may look like for you.
My practice is grounded in Jungian depth psychology and integrates Active Imagination, dream analysis, shadow work, as well as somatic and trauma-informed approaches. I have a special interest in working with adults struggling with eating disorders, developmental/childhood trauma or major life transitions. I have experience in women's issues and development.
I believe that health involves a mind-body-soul alignment, and that this alignment is deeply unique and nuanced. I view psychotherapy as a creative holistic process through which we can explore what this alignment feels like.
