My name is Veronica and I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia. I hold a Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology and a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology (MCP). In the past, I have worked directly with individuals experiencing a range of diverse issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma and sexuality-based issues. Most commonly, I witnessed many of those individuals feeling pain and suffering alone. Intimacy and sexuality can be difficult to discuss and can impact your mental health and well-being.

Hi and welcome! It is my mission to support people in a safe, non-judgmental space on their journey toward a life full of harmony, freedom and meaning. My experience has taught me that genuine presence, validation, open communication and even the smallest steps toward healing can help your growth. My clinical psychology training allowed me to acquire CBT-based, psychodynamic, family-oriented and person-centered methods, as well as several indirect techniques (e.g. symbolic, relaxation, imaginative and more), which I have used in my practice to help individuals and couples with a wide range of mental health concerns.

Beginning therapy often comes with uncertainty. My role is to meet you in that space, and to work together toward a deeper understanding of what feels difficult, stuck, or unresolved while supporting you towards meaningful change. I offer a compassionate and trauma-informed approach to therapy, and focus on showing up with genuine care and curiosity when we meet. I aim to bring thoughtfulness and authenticity to the therapeutic process. I attend not only to your symptoms, but to the broader emotional, relational, and systemic environments that shape your experiences.
