I practice psychotherapy with individual adults 21 and over with a focus on depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or just learning to live a more meaningful life, day-to-day. As a long-time practitioner of meditation and mindfulness, I introduce clients to the benefits of both if they're interested. I work with every client to set goals we can measure and create a treatment plan just for them. It's important to me to help all my clients to make the most of the strengths they already have and give them tools to build on those strengths and develop new ones.
As a therapist, I offer a path for clients to work through the issues that are causing them to feel conflicted, confused, ashamed, afraid, angry, or numb. It's not always easy to face up to the things that hurt us, but it's always worth it,
I became a therapist because therapy helped me to live a fuller and more authentic life. I'm so grateful to have learned techniques for working with the pain of my past experiences and the challenges of now, and I love sharing them with others. Everyone deserves to be able to find joy in their life, in spite of the problems we all experience as human beings.
