About
You’re probably feeling overwhelmed, having scrolled through a million profiles and not sure who to pick to reach out to! Bottom line, you won’t know if a therapist is a good fit for you until you really get to know them. Much like a pair of shoes, you gotta try them on! Because the most important part of successful therapy is feeling comfortable and connected with your therapist. As a therapist, I try to create an atmosphere based on that famous east coast hospitality that we Newfoundlanders are so well known – a sense of warmth, comfort, connection and genuine caring.
For 20+ years, I have worked with clients dealing with a variety of complex issues and gained some lived wisdom along the way. My professional style is gentle, relaxed and down to earth with a dash of east coast humour! My approach is rooted in authenticity and vulnerability - being real - and the fact that we all struggle sometimes - including therapists!
When you work with me, you get a more genuine, collaborative, and empowering approach that honours your wisdom and strengths. My goal is to offer you a therapy experience that’s rooted in professionalism but feels a little less clinical - helping you move from surviving to thriving. So, let’s have a chat and get to know one another!
