Throughout life we necessarily craft intricate maps for moving through the systems that shape our world, expertly guiding ourselves through the ups and downs of ambiguity, trauma, unpredictability, and change. But what happens when our comprehensive structures stop serving us? And how do we move forward when they stop suppressing our pain? Feeling at odds with our trusted narratives and methods is an unfamiliar and exhausting experience, and my goal is to help you move towards the parts of yourself that feel dark and untouchable—a process that, over time, softens feelings of fear and shame.
I work with clients by creating a safe space to explore how healing is not only personal, but relational. By understanding both your past and present with non-judgement, we will integrate features of parts work with psychodynamic and existential methods to fit your unique needs and better understand the complexities of your story, together.
Making the decision to seek out therapy can feel unnerving and overwhelming. But developing a therapeutic relationship gives us the space to honour our complexity when evading it no longer serves us. If you have any questions about my approach or are curious to know more about my work, feel free to contact me by email for a consultation.
