Welcome! My name is Cassidy and I provide therapy to individuals, ages 16 and up, as well as couples. My areas of focus include emotional processing and regulation, self-compassion, communication skills, relational health, identity and autonomy development, and life transitions. I also support clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, and disconnection. I am trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy (Level 2), and work with couples in areas of conflict resolution, building friendships and intimacy within the relationship, and finding shared meaning in life.
My work is person centred and places you, the client, as the expert on your own life. My aim is to provide a safe, judgement-free, and nurturing space, where you can show up exactly as you are. I practice from a trauma informed and culturally sensitive lens and incorporate practices from person centred, emotionally focused, and compassion focused therapies.
The challenges we face can teach us so much about ourselves and what we want out of life, but exploring these things can often feel overwhelming. In our work together, I aim to emphasize both of these things – that we can validate and hold space for the harder things in life, and we can also learn and grow from them when we are ready.
