With nearly 10 years of clinical experience, I provide therapy to women, men and teens facing various mental health concerns, including: anxiety, OCD, hoarding and phobias, as well support for interpersonal conflicts, infidelity and betrayal trauma.
My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Brainspotting, and Habit Reversal Training. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, including: generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias and body-focused repetitive behaviours.
I use ERP to help clients build insight, develop a hierarchy for confronting phobias and obsessions/compulsions. For BFRBs — including skin-picking (excoriation) and hair-pulling (trichotillomania) — I focus on awareness training, stimulus control, lapse support, and co-morbidities such as anxiety and depression.
As a Partner Trauma Therapist–Candidate, I also specialize in supporting partners affected by infidelity and sex addiction using Stephanie Carnes' Facing Heartbreak model.
