I am a qualifying therapist with years of experience working in crisis situations. My formal education and experience in the Canadian Armed Forces and working in crisis situations has given me the experience to help in many situations. I work with individuals, couples, adolescents and children who are struggling with their day to day life challenges. I am a person-centered therapist that incorporates art therapy, mindfulness and DBT therapy.
I specialize in trauma and incorporate EMDR therapy to challenge emotions, thoughts, memories, and behaviours rooted in past experiences. I incorporate equine assisted learning to help regulate emotions, build on communication and problem-solving and enhance quality of life skills.
