Virtual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Anxiety
This 6 week CBT group provides concrete supports, interventions & skill development using evidence based techniques that assist individuals overcoming obstacles with generalized anxiety disorder. Facilitated by Registered Psychotherapist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Carrie Charles, she encourages group participation through lively discussions, educational in-group applications & assigned activities. Through weekly participation & application of skills learned, clients experience a higher degree of control over their anxiety symptoms. Participants report relief from: Worry & Rumination; Intrusive thoughts; Sleep problems; Negative Self Talk; Social Anxieties & Self-limiting beliefs by implementing mindfulness-based practices such as relaxation skills, visualization, thought records, grounding skills, & self-compassion strategies to name a few.
