About
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist who appreciates the importance of empowerment and autonomy for all individuals. I value a client's need to be heard, respected, supported, and given a safe space to uncover their skills and strengths. I have a special interest in supporting teens and young adults as they navigate changes, life transitions, and challenges (ie. anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, motivation, identity, sports and school issues, and low self-esteem). My background in sports and education provides valuable experience with building connections and a genuine understanding of teens, youth, and young adults.
My therapeutic approach is influenced by Person Centred Therapy, Strength-Based, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I value individual perspective, personal experience, and intrinsic motivation for change. I strive to ensure all of my clients feel safe, respected, supported, and understood while working on goals and sharing challenges and concerns.
I believe in collaborating and working in partnership with my clients. Whether you are needing a safe space to communicate, therapeutic support facing a specific concern, or are taking your first steps on your therapeutic journey, together we will establish a process that you are comfortable with.
