I strive to promote an atmosphere that encourages vulnerability, using strength based and emotionally focused approaches to support your journey, as well as incorporating CBT and DBT skills training when appropriate.
Whether you need assistance with adjusting to a new chapter in your life, or acknowledging and working through a difficult history, I am comfortable and experienced supporting clients with challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, personality disorders, grief, and relational conflict.
Having a space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and life’s challenges can promote new ways of problem solving and perspective taking, and I take care to allow this process to run at your own pace with your own agenda. Therapy is a very collaborative practice, and you should always feel empowered both in and after sessions.
