I have a passion for working with individuals who are struggling to stay on top of their emotional responses. This can be due to so many factors from the state of our world, the result of high anxiety, an overactive stress response, trauma and post traumatic stress disorder, conflict in relationships, or burnout. We all experience times when our usual coping strategies are no longer enough and we are in distress. Our relationships suffer, our work suffers and our families suffer.
This is what you can expect the counselling space to look like.
Sometimes all we need is someone to talk to, sometimes we need more resources and tools to add to our existing strategies. I offer a compassionate, strength based approach to help clients better understand themselves and what is creating the turmoil in their lives. I provide services to individuals, parents, couples and families.
