I’ve been working in my field for 15 years, and have been offering therapy services to school-age children and youth since 2018. I’m bilingual in French and English and my office is conveniently located on Prospect street, with a lot of free parking. Most of my experience has been working on various mental health struggles such as anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, emotional distress, and self-harming. I also enjoy working with families on communication, parenting, sleep hygiene, and challenges related to transitions such as separation, divorce, blended families, and military relocations.
In my practice, I use a strengths-based approach and draw from several evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness. I also offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
I understand the difficulty of seeing your child struggle with their mental health and I would love to be able to help your family in developing safe coping strategies and offer a listening ear to hear your concerns.
