I offer psychotherapy and counselling for career development including holistic assessment and exploration of career paths for teenagers and adults going through work transitions. I can help you plan your education, improve your work relationships, project yourself better in the labour market, prepare for maternity, paternity and parenting leaves, prepare for retirement, immigration, and develop a new career as a mature professional. In any of those circumstances, if you have a history of trauma or mental health issues interfering with your goals, I can help you with my vast experience as a mental health provider.
I'm trained in Existentialist Psychology, DBT, Mindfulness-CBT, and Narrative approaches such as Life Designing. I have vast experience in the University setting, helping students from a variety of backgrounds. As a former international student myself I have a passion for supporting individuals developing global careers.
I work by an affirmative approach to gender and sexual diversity, and from a culturally sensitive perspective. I have worked for many years as a psychologist in Brazil and a psychotherapist in Canada helping clients with complex mental health issues.
