If you are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression or grief, the Currents Art Psychotherapy Studio is the place for you. I'm a Professional Canadian Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a background in psychology, global education and improv theatre. I work within an anti-oppressive client-centered framework to help clients navigate challenging feelings, thoughts and behaviors. I integrate my art therapy practice with other expressive modalities along with the qualities of curiosity and good humor to create a welcoming, safe and transformative therapeutic environment for all ages.
I also understand that trauma and stress are body based. It can be difficult to relieve stress, anxiety, depression and to work through trauma with solely verbal methods. Through art and creativity, in the supported safety of the studio, you can tell your story and your truth, work through pain and move forward in a way that is right for you.
I fully believe that you are on the path to healing, you've taken the first step. Exploring options for therapy and finding a therapist that is a good fit for you is vital for your healing journey. Please reach out for a free 15 minute consultation.
