About
"Nothing goes away until it teaches us what we need to know" (Pema Chodron). With over 20 years in the mental health field, I am registered with the Ontario College of Psychologists for providing therapy, assessment and diagnosis of adults. I deal with many issues including depression, anxiety, relationships, loneliness, grief, guilt and regrets, trauma, parenting, life transitions, social skills, shame, and communication skills. Whatever the issue, I work with every client providing dignity, compassion, clarity and insight.
I trained at the U of Ottawa (1993) and the Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto. I am a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, Ontario Psychological Association, Canadian Psychological Association, and Ottawa Academy of Psychologists.
I've experienced many life stories through my work (therapy, teaching, writing, mental health agencies) and travels around the world. Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and fees are reimbursable by private insurance plans.
