Andrew has been practicing psychotherapy and counselling for more than 19 years. He performed as a clinical supervisor and a team leader for mental health and substance use programs in Vancouver. He treats adult, youth, and adolescent clients who experience various mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety, bipolar, psychosis, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, eating disorders, emotional and behavioural dysregulation, and borderline personality. He also provides marriage/couple counselling (only provides 90-minute couple counselling sessions) to nurture emotion connection, attachment, bonding, and communication.
Andrew uses Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE), mindfulness-based approach, metacognitive approach, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and Client-Directed Outcome-Informed Therapy.
