We all need a place to feel listened to, respected, and valued. I will work collaboratively with you to identify a personalized counselling approach that is comfortable and effective for your unique needs. I have experience supporting people through a range of challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, codependency, addiction, anger/conflict resolution, pain management, grief, and more.
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's degree in social work, and am currently a doctoral candidate researching gender inequities in help-seeking. Using strengths-based and trauma-informed principles, I combine knowledge from psychology and social work to bring an inclusive, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach.
As with many people who work in the helping profession, I was led here by personal experience and a passion to create a better future. I am a firm believer that all people can benefit from counselling and I am dedicated to creating a safe environment for people to work through the many challenges that come along with being human.

Man-to-Man
Men can benefit greatly from having emotional support and close friendships with other men. Yet, many have difficulty initiating this type of bond. Men need support just as much as everyone else but until recently, our society has encouraged them to repress their emotions and to solve problems alone. This in-person, open group offers a safe space for men to make strong connections and authentic friendships by getting to know other men who are looking to better their lives through counselling. Topics vary by week.
