My practice focuses on enabling clients to construct their own solutions for dealing with their challenges - which is largely done through self exploration and recognizing one's own self-healing capacities. My therapeutic approach is based on an integrative model that incorporates a wide range of theories, methods and perspectives (such as psychodynamic, cognitive behaviour, mindfulness, interpersonal psychoanalysis and behaviour modification).
In addition to traditional in-office sessions, I offer 'walk & talk' therapy that combines counselling with movement. This form of therapy allows for the physical release of stress hormones and the creation of a comfortable, outdoor environment that encourages personal growth.
