It's amazing how much we put on our plates when all we need is to rest. It's amazing how much we can long for understanding and connection and how much opportunity can be missed right in front of our eyes. It's amazing how short life is. It's also amazing how much we can learn in the time we have, and how little steps can amount to such massive change.

Vanessa is a Registered Psychotherapist in Bracebridge, ON. In January 2011, she opened her own private practice, and has now a roster of therapists trained to help you in your therapeutic journey. Vanessa believes that the counselling process is one that is very individual based, and uses different therapies depending on the needs of her clients. Vanessa holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counselling from Liberty University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from Nipissing University. Vanessa is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist, and clinical supervisor.

My name is Kim and I am a Registered Social Worker at Rooted in Counselling. I work with adults experiencing changes in their mental health, life transitions, grief, substance use concerns, as well as adults who are looking to get in touch with themselves and find new insights and clarity in their lives. I have a compassionate and conversational approach to therapy and use the benefits of CBT and DBT to empower my clients with skills and motivation to make meaningful changes in their lives.
