I view psychological wellbeing as I do physical wellbeing - it requires time, care and maintenance. Making the decision to feel better when you feel down does not always come easily. If you are struggling with life, reaching out for help is the right thing to do. My private practice consults with other professionals to provide you with the best, up-to-date and proven treatment options. Some of the treatment models that I am certified in are: Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders (FBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE).
My practice has two therapy sections within the room. There is a traditional therapy area and a creative play area where children can express, explore and just be. Your child will have access to sand tray, clay, paint, puppetry, dress-up, doll house, pastels, markers to name a few which will help them to process their inner world.
As a parent, I understand that sometimes we don't seem to have all the answers that we wish we did. I'm here and ready to help your family.
