Taking the first step to begin talking about your experiences in ways that capture the essence of who you are can feel scary. Creating the space for open and honest conversations about what matters to you help me to better support your journey to self-discovery and growth. I blend a holistic, non-judgment approach with effective evidence-based treatment strategies.
I use a blend of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and other strength-based interventions to support your desired treatment goals. Together, we create goals to get you back to your authentic self and help you to learn other life skills moving forward.
My client-centred clinical practice includes work with Black and LGBTQ youth and their families and other clients who are at risk for involvement in serious violence and crime. I offer flexible and individualized treatment plan, which may include individual and/or family sessions, in-home sessions, and skills training.
