Hello. My name is Melody Evans. Welcome to my practice, Can’t We Just Get Along Counselling, Melody Evans & Associates. The name of my practice is unconventional, but I believe it reflects a truth about life: at some point, we all struggle to get along with someone in our lives. It may be a person we work with, live with, love, or even ourselves. This disruption can profoundly affect people's mental health. As the founder and senior therapist I made it my company's mission is to assist in alleviating psychological pain caused by trauma and relationships. My team and I work with individuals, couples, teens, children & families.
My practice focuses in two areas of specialty: EMDR Trauma therapy and Gottman couples’ therapy. I hold two designations, one as a Registered Clinical Psychologist, and as a Registered Marriage & Family Therapist. I am a PTSD expert who is certified in EMDR and an approved EMDR consultant & CAP supervisor. My team of psychologists are also highly skilled.
I am a seasoned therapist with over 20 years of experience in the field of counselling. People often ask “isn’t being a psychologist challenging” I say the opposite.
