Groups
Strong Moms, Safe Kids

A special parenting program for mothers who have been abused. They can have special challenges, from keeping their children safe to dealing with the legal system. Mothers have an opportunity to experience mutual support, while their children learn that they are not alone and that support is nearby. The group lasts for 10 weeks. Families enjoy both food and fun together. The group provides time for families to learn about the impact of abuse together, and also provides smaller groups for mothers, youth and younger children, so that they can learn more about surviving abuse at an age-appropriate level.

OK2BME Youth Group

Our LGBTQ Youth Group is a drop-in social/recreational group for LGBTQ youth ages 13-18. This group provides facilitated support and social opportunities for youth. These groups are not formal and operate on a drop-in basis. The goal of this group is to create a space where you can hang out with current friends and make new ones - all in a safe and respectful environment! Youth do not need to register to attend. Groups run on alternating Tuesday evenings from 6-7:30pm at KW Counselling.
