I hold compassion for all you have been through and where you are now. I approach therapy as a collaboration between you and I, where you are respected and honoured and your strengths are highlighted. We work at a safe pace in line with your needs. I recognize how hard it is to be a human in this world and the support required to get through challenging and transitional times, as well as the possibility for resilient growth and recovery. I am an avid lover of music, art and dance, believing that creativity is a part of being alive. I work to integrate this into my practice, along with a spiritual and intuitive sense.
My work with individuals and couples integrates Systemic, EFT, IFS and Somatic modalities to connect you with yourself, your loved ones, your intuition and heal traumatic wounds. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and a Certified Clinical Traumatologist and hold an Advanced Certificate in Couple and Family Therapy Studies from University of Guelph.
Finding a good match with a therapist is so important. Feel free to schedule a consultation at no charge to get a sense of my style and how I would work with you or your relationship. "the curious paradox is that when I accept myself, just as I am, then I can change" Carl Rodgers PhD
