Expressive arts are at the heart of my work as a pre-licensed therapist under supervision. I welcome people who feel overwhelmed, caught in others’ expectations, or unsure how to hear their own voice. Together, we can make room for what is asking for attention and explore the imagination, strengths and resources within you, even when these feel far away. No artistic experience is needed.
Expressive arts can be used in session to create safety, belonging and expression where words fall short.
In sessions, conversation may unfold into poetry, imagery, movement or art-making. We follow what draws you and notice what emerges: a feeling, a possibility, a new way of meeting yourself. You choose what to try, at a pace that feels manageable. There is room for play and discovery, without needing to make something beautiful or get it right.
You can arrive without knowing what you need or how to put it into words. We can begin there, with warmth and care, making room for your experience and what helps you feel more yourself.
