I know how vulnerable it can feel to open up in therapy. Sharing our deepest concerns and hoping they’ll be met with warmth is such a human experience and I know this firsthand as someone who also goes to therapy myself. That’s why I show up with compassion, and curiosity to create a space where all parts of you are welcome! My name is Daniel Oommen and I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Certified Sexologist. At my practice, I specialize in sex therapy, couples therapy, and trauma therapy. My hope is to support change that feels both meaningful and sustainable, without ever rushing the process.
My approach is holistic, relational, and grounded in real-life tools you can use outside the therapy room. I support individuals and couples navigating experiences such as low libido, painful sex, kinks, communication issues, gender exploration, porn/sex addiction, erectile concerns, infidelity, postpartum sexuality, non-monogamy, trauma, and shame.
As a queer therapist, I work to create a space that’s affirming of queer and gender-diverse folks, and supportive of sex workers. My style is rooted in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive care because my clients feeling seen matters to me.
