Hello! Thanks for your interest.
I’m Bruna, a registered clinical counsellor assisting individuals navigate the challenges of chronic pain, anxiety, and depression, among other concerns. As someone who also lives with chronic pain/illness (arthritis), I understand firsthand the struggles that come with it. There are changes in relationships, navigating complex diagnoses and needing to adapt activities; it is not easy to go through all of that alone. In therapy, we can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
I utilize evidence-based approaches, mostly Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to help you with your emotional struggles effectively. We will work together to develop psychological flexibility, allowing you to engage more fully in life despite your challenges. I am also trauma-informed and culturally sensitive.
My practice is inclusive and welcoming to people from all backgrounds and identities. I am committed to tailoring my approach to meet your specific needs. Together, we will explore your goals, identify barriers, and develop practical strategies to enhance your quality of life. Please get in touch with me for a free consultation so we can start.
