I have 36 years in clinical psychology and I have a wide-range of experiences and have worked with adults 18-64 from many walks of life. My ideal client is someone who may be struggling with trauma issues such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, etc. I am interested in working with clients who wish to grow beyond their conditions, and heal so that they can achieve optimal psychological functioning for themselves. I utilize cognitive-behavioural, solution, focused and psychodynamic paradigms. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), therapy for various conditions.
I also provide clinical and forensic psychological assessments in addition to my therapeutic services. I am authorized to provide clinical (diagnostic) psychological assessments and testing for adults. I also have 25 years experience as a forensic risk assessor. I have experience with veterans, first responders, WSIB clients, and the general public.
I look forward to meeting you in the future. More specifically, I look forward to meeting people who are courageous and forthcoming about their goals, needs and willingness to grow beyond their current level of functioning.
