Brown Counselling and Therapy Services is a team of qualified therapists who are passionate about working alongside you to provide the tools and support to help you navigate through life's ups and downs. I hold a Master of Education degree in Counselling Psychology and Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Developmental & Educational Psychology. I specialize in helping teens and kids develop learning & motivational strategies that enable them to approach difficult challenges and transitions in their lives.
I foster a collaborative relationship and work to create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where clients can talk about difficulties they may be experiencing at school or work. I use collaborative approaches to help my clients find solutions to face learning challenges that negatively impact their motivation and life satisfaction.
I tailor my approach based on what my clients need from me while incorporating playful activities. I help teens recognize coping strategies that often impact their sleep, school, and social interactions, with adaptive and empowering strategies. I seek to help my clients view learning challenges as opportunities to discover strengths and develop resilience.
