I am a registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for helping adolescents and young adults overcome mental health challenges and build a life full of meaning and hope. I have over a decade of experience providing mental health services to clients within Manitoba and extensive formal training in group facilitation and individual therapy. My areas of expertise include working with adolescents and young adults who struggle with coping skills, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and borderline personality disorder.
Individual therapy sessions are tailored to the unique needs and goals of the client. Using a DBT framework, I am guided by the principle that everyone is doing the best they can and has the ability and innate desire to improve. I focus on helping clients develop skills to engage more effectively and build a greater sense of meaning and mastery.
