The painful events we experience can have a lasting impact on our mental health, our relationships, and how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. This is the understanding from which I center my practice. I aim to help clients better understand their inner experiences, attend to their own needs, and to heal from the past. My clients have described my approach as warm, non-judgemental, and authentic.
I work with individuals experiencing the impacts of childhood and later life trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, difficulties in family dynamics, caregiver burnout, and general life stress. I use evidence-based treatment including EMDR, ACT, and ERP. I am also trained to conduct adult capacity assessments under the Adult Capacity and Decision Making Act.
Whether you're coming back to therapy or it's your first time reaching out, I am here to support your journey and get you back to feeling like 'you'. Please contact me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to discuss your needs and whether I would be a good fit.
