As a counselor I am honored to be a part of your journey, no matter how big or small. Working with me means that I see you as the expert of your lived experiences. My aim is to work with you and meet you where you are at so we can figure out what is working, what needs to change, and how we can get there together. After all, this is YOUR journey. Counselling with me is a collaborative process where your voice, opinions, and experiences matter, are important, and are valid.
I mainly practice from a trauma-informed & humanistic perspective, with a mixed approach to help meet your needs. I want you to feel empowered in this process & build confidence in yourself. I work with children from the ages of 4 & up and work with adults, with training & experience supporting trauma, chronic illness, neurodivergence, and body image.
Being trauma-informed means that I recognize that sometimes our life experiences shapes and changes the way we experience things, that trauma/stress can change our healing process, and may mean you need more time to build that trust with me. But I am willing to build that trust so that together we can bring you closer to your goals and the life you want.
